Editorial policy
How we produce, verify and update content — and how we keep advertising separate from information.
Updated on October 1, 2026 adapted from the Portuguese original
How we research
- We prioritise primary sources: Gramado’s Tourism Department, Gramadotur, the Gramado Tourism Observatory, the City Hall and the official websites of attractions and events.
- We do not copy texts, photos or page structures from other sites.
- We do not make up information. If we cannot confirm something, we do not publish it or we mark it as pending confirmation.
- We do not invent experiences. We never claim to have “visited” or “tested” something unless it actually happened.
How we update
- Every page shows its last update date.
- Information that changes — prices, opening hours, event dates — shows when it was verified and against which source.
- Event dates are published only after confirmation by an official source, and are never rolled over to the next year without new confirmation.
Affiliate links
Some links may earn the guide a commission when you book or buy, at no extra cost to you. These links are labelled and technically marked as commercial. Commissions never decide what we recommend.
Labelling paid content
- Advertisement: third-party ads, including ad networks.
- Sponsored: directory businesses that paid for a highlight.
- Sponsored content: content produced under a commercial agreement.
Advertisers cannot buy mentions, assessments or positions in editorial content. Ads never appear on forms, search, contact or policy pages, or on pages with little content.
