Coming back to Gramado is common: 63% of respondents in the 2025 official survey were not on their first visit. Returning visitors have already done the classic itinerary — so the question is how to have a different trip.

Change the season

The town changes with the calendar. If you came in winter, try the Natal Luz Christmas season or events such as the Festa da Colônia and the Vindima (grape harvest festival), which appear in the official calendar.

Explore the countryside

Part of Gramado’s territory is rural. Attractions outside downtown, such as Le Jardin, show another side of the town. According to the official calendar, the Festa da Colônia celebrates precisely the traditions of the immigrants and countryside culture.

Change the pace

On a first trip, people tend to squeeze in as much as possible. On the second, the opposite works: fewer attractions per day and more time for cafés, walks and long meals.

Widen the radius

With more days, use Gramado as a base to explore the region. See the 7-day itinerary and the Canela day trip.

Discover it through food

Food is the most cited reason to travel in the official survey (38%). A second trip can be built around the table: see where to eat in Gramado.
